A new partnership combines Polarsteps' travel community with Timeleft's social dining experiences, beginning with a four-week dinner series in Boston.

Polarsteps, the all-in-one travel planning and tracking app, and Timeleft, the platform that connects strangers over dinner, today announced a new partnership designed to help travelers connect in person. Starting Wednesday, August 5 in Boston, travelers can join weekly Polarsteps x Timeleft Travelers Dinners by reserving a seat through the Timeleft app

The collaboration is based on a simple idea: travel is often richer when it’s shared. While many people enjoy the independence of exploring on their own, they also value opportunities to meet others along the way. By combining Polarsteps' global travel community with Timeleft's expertise in organizing social dinners, the partnership makes it easier to find those connections.

“People use travel to connect with each other in real life all the time: deepening relationships with friends and family through shared experiences, discovering new things on an epic trip with a partner, falling in love in a backpacker hostel, meeting strangers and being welcomed into their communities, and so much more,” said Clare Jones, CEO of Polarsteps. “The Polarsteps community is full of people who know that travel can help make us more curious and more open-hearted about other people - a Timeleft partnership is the perfect way to bring that to life.”

"After 100+ Timeleft dinners, the thing I've learned is that a city never makes you feel at home. The people in it do," said Maxime Barbier, CEO and co-founder of Timeleft. "That's the beauty of a Timeleft dinner: wherever you land, one click and tomorrow night you're sitting with the people who actually make up that city, some who live there, some just passing through like you. For the Polarsteps community, that's a welcoming home wherever the trip takes them. And it doesn't happen when you overthink it. It happens when you show up."

Throughout the four-week Boston pilot, diners will be among the first to experience the collaboration. To help get conversations flowing, every table will feature a Polarsteps Travel Book designed especially for the series, filled with travel stories, inspiring photography, and travel-themed conversation prompts.
