Available from 15 December, Polarsteps Unpacked turns each user’s 2025 travel history into a beautifully crafted snapshot, highlighting their most memorable adventures, unique travel stats, and the moments that defined who they were on the road.

Designed to be fun to explore and even more fun to share, Unpacked is a celebration of everything that made people's year in travel unforgettable, from the spontaneous detours to the once-in-a-lifetime discoveries. Unpacked shows where they've been, what they've seen, and who they are as a traveler. 

Polarsteps Unpacked will be available exclusively within the Polarsteps app from 15 December. To unlock it, users must have recorded at least one trip (with content) in the past year.

Polarsteps 2025 Year in Travel Report

The launch coincides with the publication of the Polarsteps Year in Travel 2025 report, which highlights striking shifts in global travel behaviors.

While Europe dominates among the millions of Polarsteps travelers, the USA loses momentum. The number of Polarsteps travelers entering the USA fell by 16%, placing the country among the worst performers globally this year. Meanwhile, within Europe, the Baltic States are the three fastest-rising nations (Lithuania +20%, Latvia +13%, and Estonia +12%), influenced by the rising appeal of ‘coolcation’ spots.
