The update includes Explore, a revamped discovery experience that helps users find destinations trending with real travelers, places their friends and family loved, and trips tailored to their personal travel style. Travelers can now add places they discover directly to their plans. 

Trip planning is also now possible on the web, bringing the full Polarsteps planning experience to larger screens and making it easier to organize trips from a laptop or desktop.

New flight functionality allows travelers to look up flights in-app and add them directly to their itinerary, keeping travel plans and flight details in one place.

The update also introduces a redesigned trip timeline that gives photos and stories more room to shine, creating a more beautiful way to follow a journey.

For travelers who want more control over sharing, new location privacy settings let users choose whether their live location is visible, with the option to share a route that only shows GPS tracking up to their last recorded step.

Finally, Trip Reels — the app's automatically generated videos that showcase the user’s trip — now include dynamic map flyovers that reflect the actual terrain of the traveler’s route.

The new features are all available now to Polarsteps users in time for summer travel.
